One flat price: $299 an arch. The appliance, the impression kit, shipping both ways and 30 days of adjustments — all in.
Both arches together are $580.
Sound familiar?
- Hiding your smile in photos
- Chewing on one side
- Covering your mouth when you laugh
- Putting off a dentist quote you can't afford
How it happens
After checkout, a licensed dentist in your state reviews your photos. Your impression kit ships only after that review.
- Order online and your impression kit arrives by USPS in 3 days or FedEx overnight
- Take the mold at your own table and mail it back with the prepaid label
- We build your set in 3 to 4 business days and ship it to your door
- Free shipping both ways
- Custom made in a Florida dental lab
- 30 days of free adjustments
Am I the right candidate?
- You are 18 or older
- You want gaps, stains, chips or worn edges covered
- Your own teeth are sound and standing
- You want it for work, photos and evenings rather than meals
- You are content to take it out for anything solid on the plate
- You will rinse it in cool water and keep it in its case
Not the right buy if
- A tooth is gone at the back and you want to chew on that space
- A tooth is loose or broken down to the gum
- You want your own teeth whiter rather than covered by a shell
What $299 and $580 buy
A snap-on veneer is one thin shell that clips over a whole arch of the teeth you already have. It covers gaps, stains, chips and worn edges, and it comes straight back out.
One arch is $299 and both arches together are $580. The impression kit, the 16 colour shade guide and the postage in both directions are already inside that number.
“its so embarrassing to go to work with a missing tooth” is the line we hear most often. Rush production takes the bench down to 3 to 4 business days for $150.
The whole snap-on ladder, from $30 to $1,791
Everything sold as a snap-on sits somewhere on this ladder. What moves the price is whether the shell is a stock size or cut from a mold of your own teeth.
| Seller | Price | How it is sized | Wait |
|---|---|---|---|
| Temptooth kit | $30 | Putty you shape onto one tooth | Same day |
| Amazon sets | $88 to $209 | Stock size, boil and bite | Off the shelf |
| Dental Lab Direct | $59 to $549 | Mold taken at home | Not published |
| Instasmile | $275 to $395 | Mold taken at home | 21 days |
| Smile Lab USA | $299 an arch, $580 both | Mold taken at home | 3 to 4 days at the bench |
| Brighter Image Lab | $1,791 | Mold taken at home | Not published |
| A cosmetic office | $2,500 | Chair time and fittings | Not published |
The $2,500 figure is the number a competing snap-on seller prints for the same look in a chair, and $1,500 is what another quotes with a cosmetic dentist.
Stock tray, boil and bite, or cut from your mold
Three ways a shell can meet your teeth, and the reason one of them clicks when you talk. A stock tray is an average mouth, and nobody has the average mouth.
| Way in | What it is | How it sits | From |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stock tray | One shell in two or three sizes | Rocks on the long teeth, lifts at the back | $30 |
| Boil and bite | A stock shell softened in hot water | Better at the front, a stock arch behind it | $88 |
| Cut from your mold | Your own tooth shapes, read at the bench | Seats quietly, nothing to click against | $299 |
The click people hear in a stock set is the shell rocking on the teeth it was never measured against.
Shade and size, what gives a set away
Two complaints follow this product everywhere it is sold. “They look fake! Too big, they are oversized.”
“The color they picked for the teeth did not match mine.” Both are decided before anything is cut, and both are settled on the photos you send us.
Size comes off the mold
The shell is cut to your own tooth widths, so the arch does not run wider than the mouth it sits in.
Hold the guide at the tooth
Photograph the shade guide touching the tooth beside the gap, in daylight, with the flash off.
Take the neighbour shade
A shade next to your own teeth reads as teeth. The whitest tab on the wheel is what reads as a set.
Five shades are cut in production, Snow White, Pearl, Vanilla, Chardonnay and Caramel. The 16 colour guide in the kit is the tool for choosing between them.
Putting them on and taking them off
RinseCool water over the veneers and around your mouth.
Line upCenter the shell on your front teeth with your fingers.
PressPush evenly until it seats. Never bite it down.
LiftTake them off from the back edges, then pull down slowly.
StoreSoft brush, mild cleanser, then into the case.
Hot water warps a set and strong cleaners will dull the finish, so take them out of the mouth before you go to sleep.
What one arch can hide
What a snap-on set covers

Gaps and spacing
The arch reads as one even row

Crooked edges
Uneven teeth line up behind a straight new row

Missing teeth
The space reads as a tooth instead of a hole

Chips and wear
Short, worn edges get their length back again

Deep stains
Color that whitening never lifted is covered

How it seats, and what you eat with it
It presses on over the teeth and grips them, and nothing under the gum holds it. Expect a fuller lip line and a few days of getting the S sound back.
The first hour
Bulk behind the lip and a little extra saliva. Reading out loud at home is the fastest way through it.
At the table
Soft food, cut small, taken slowly. Drinks are fine. Anything hard or chewy means taking the set out first.
When it comes out
Your own teeth are untouched. Nothing was filed, drilled or reshaped to make room for the shell.
Keeping a set, and what ruins one
Handling is what decides how long a set holds up. Sets that live in the case outlast sets that ride around in a pocket.
Cleaning foam is $24.99, the sterilization case is $29.99 and the ultrasonic bath is $54.99.
Three days at the bench, and the days either side
Three days is the bench and not the trip. Count the kit going out to you, your mold coming back, the cutting, and the box going home.
Rush production is $150 and takes the bench down to 3 to 4 business days. Overnight shipping starts at $45.
Where a mold for a snap-on set goes wrong
A shell grips the front teeth by their edges, so those edges are exactly what the print has to hold. Four faults account for almost every mold we send back.
Putty short at the front
Lifted before it set
Tray sitting crooked
Bent on the way back
Impression kitHow to take an impression
A second kit is $40 and a fresh set of putty is $25.
