Am I the right candidate?
- You are 18 or older
- One or two teeth are gone on the same jaw
- The tooth is out or worn down to the gum line
- Healthy teeth are still standing on both sides of the space
- You want a thinner edge on the gum than a poured plate
- You will take it out at night and clean it in cool water
Not the right buy if
- A root or a stump is still standing in the gap
- Three teeth or more are missing in a row
- The socket was opened inside the last month
What $349 buys
A semi-flex flipper is a removable plate that carries one or two replacement teeth and rests on the gum behind the teeth you still have. It goes in with your fingertips and comes out at night.
One arch is $349 and that is the whole number. The kit, the postage both ways and the first month of adjustments are already counted inside it.
The same $349 covers the upper or the lower arch. Two arches are ordered as two arches.
The clinic price, and what sits inside it
A dental office bills the appointments first and the plate on top of them. The plate itself is the same plate. The rest of the number is the room and an invoice passed along.
Two or three visits
A consult, an impression appointment and a fitting, each one billed before a tooth is set.
The lab invoice
Most offices order the piece from a lab like ours and bill it on with a markup added.
What $349 skips
We are the bench. Your mold lands in Hollywood and the plate is pressed where it lands.
Where semi-flex sits between the other two
Three plates cover the same gap. What the material changes is how thin the edge on your gum can be cut, what shows when you smile and how long the plate holds its shape.
| Build | One arch | At the bench | Base | Under a bite |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Acrylic flipper | $319 | 6 to 10 business days | Rigid and poured | Snaps on ice or toffee |
| Semi-flex flipper | $349 | 6 to 10 business days | Milled, firm with a soft edge | Holds shape, still no hard food |
| Flexible flipper | $399 | 6 to 10 business days | Bends with the gum, no metal | Bends rather than snaps |

Milled from a blank, not poured in a mold
This build is the middle of the scale. The body is cut out of a solid blank, so it keeps the stiffness of acrylic, and the border that touches the gum is finished soft.
Cut, not cast
A poured plate shrinks a little as it sets. A milled one comes out of a blank that is already dense.
A thinner border
The edge sitting on your gum can be taken down further, and that is what you stop noticing by lunch.
Firm in the middle
The body does not flex when you bite, so the replacement tooth stays exactly where it was set.
The first week, and what you chew on
It seats under fingertip pressure and then sits still. Your teeth never do the pushing, and biting it down into place is how clasps end up bent.
Days one to three
More saliva than usual, a light press on the gum and an S sound that lands oddly. It passes.
At the table
Cut everything small and chew on both sides. Pasta, fish, eggs and soft fruit give no trouble.
Leave it out for
Ice, hard nuts, crusty rolls, toffee and anything you would tear at with your front teeth.
What sets how long it lasts
The material is only part of it. A milled base holds its shape for up to three years of daily wear, and what shortens that is heat, hard chewing and nights spent in your mouth.
Cleaning foam is $24.99, the sterilization case is $29.99 and the ultrasonic bath is $54.99.
Honest limits, printed before you buy
It is not an implant and nothing under the gum is holding it. It also comes out before you sleep, so it never doubles as a night guard.
- Hard and sticky food stays off it. Ice, toffee and crusty rolls end plates early.
- It will not hold the teeth beside the gap still for good, it only slows the drift.
- It will not whiten or repair the teeth the clasps rest against.
The kit, the mold and the post
No appointment anywhere in this. The kit is a $49.99 item on its own and it is already paid for inside the $349.
- The kit reaches youIt leaves us the same or the next business day and lands with you in 3 days by USPS or overnight by FedEx.
- You take the moldTwo trays, two mixes and a photo to us before the box goes back into the post.
- We mill and shipSeven business days at the bench, then the finished arch travels back to your door.
Impression kitHow to take an impression
A replacement kit is $40 and a fresh set of putty on its own is $25.
Where a mold goes wrong, and the fix
You get the reason and the fix, never the word rejected on its own. Four things account for nearly every mold that has to be taken again.
Not enough putty
Lifted too soon
Tray sat off centre
Squashed in the post
Pressed at one lab bench, not passed on
One building does all of it. The mold is read, the blank is milled and the tooth is shaded by the same technicians, and no part of the case goes to an outside lab.
Hollywood, Florida
One lab bench and one mill, with cases that never leave the building.
Fifteen years plus
The technicians on your case have been shaping removable work for more than 15 years.
