$200 on top of the flipper you already ordered
This goes on an order that already exists. There is nothing to upgrade on its own.
Sometimes the mold tells us more than the order form did. If the gap runs wider than three teeth in a row, a flipper has nothing to hold onto, and this is how your case moves to the appliance that does.
- For a gap of more than three teeth next to each other
- Your mold and your place in the queue stay exactly where they are
- Same 30 day adjustment window on the finished denture
Why this comes up
A flipper leans on the teeth beside the gap. With one, two or three missing in a row there is something solid on each side and it sits still. Past three, the gap is longer than the support, and the appliance rocks every time you chew. A flexible partial spreads across the arch instead, so it borrows stability from teeth further along. We only see the difference clearly once your mold is on the bench.
What happens next
- Your mold arrives and a technician checks the span of the gap.
- We write to you with what we found and what we suggest.
- You add the upgrade, and the same mold becomes a partial denture instead.
No second kit, no second mold, no going back to the start of the queue. The rest of the route is unchanged and set out in how it works.
What changes on the appliance
- It spans the arch rather than bridging one gap
- It carries more replacement teeth and more gum toned base
- Chewing load spreads out, which is what stops the rocking
Questions we hear about the upgrade
Who needs it
Anyone whose mold shows more than three missing teeth in a row on one arch. If the missing teeth are scattered rather than adjacent, the partial denture is the right appliance from the start.
Whether you can order it upfront
The upgrade exists for cases we only catch at the bench. If you already know the gap runs past three teeth, say so when you order and we will start you on the partial.
What happens if you decline
We build what you ordered, or we refund the appliance. We will not knowingly ship a flipper into a gap that will rock, because it comes straight back under the guarantee.
Whether the wait gets longer
Slightly. A partial denture takes more bench time than a flipper. Your place in the queue does not move, only the build.
Whether the mold has to be retaken
Almost never. The same impression carries both appliances. If something in it is unreadable we send a fresh kit at no charge, which is true of any order.
Which partial you end up with
The flexible one, metal free and soft against the gum. If your case would be better served by acrylic or by a cast metal frame, we say so in the same message rather than upgrading you quietly.
Whether you can go the other way
If the mold shows a shorter gap than you described, we build the flipper and there is nothing extra to pay. Nobody gets sold a bigger appliance than the mold calls for.
What payment methods do you accept
Major credit and debit cards, and Klarna or Afterpay in four payments when the order qualifies. Nothing is charged today, because ordering has not opened yet.
How long delivery takes and how to track it
The impression kit reaches you by USPS in 3 days or FedEx overnight, your mold takes the same coming back, and the build follows. Every parcel in the chain carries its own tracking number and the updates come to your phone.
Will this actually fit my mouth
It goes on an appliance order at checkout and changes nothing about the appliance itself. Same technicians, same materials, and the same 30 days of free adjustments from delivery.
