What a relaxer does that a plain guard does not
A plain guard is a shield. It stands between your teeth and takes the wear. A relaxer goes a step further and changes what your jaw closes onto. The surface is flat and even, so the muscles have nothing to lock into and no reason to keep pulling. Most people notice the difference first thing in the morning, in the side of the face rather than in the teeth.

Relaxer against night guard
The guard protects enamel. The relaxer aims at the muscle. If your complaint is worn teeth, take the guard. If your complaint is a sore, tired jaw, take the relaxer.
Which tray size to order
S to M covers most adults with an average or narrow arch. M to L suits a wide arch or anyone who has been told they have a large bite. When in doubt, message us with a photo before you order.
Whether it fits
Every relaxer is cut on a model of your own teeth by lab technicians. Anything that presses or rocks is ours to fix for a month, with a rebuild included if adjusting falls short.
Wearing it every night
That is what it is for. It is slim, it clears your lips and it is meant for nightly wear rather than occasional rescue.
Upper or lower
The upper stays put more easily and is the usual choice. Go lower if you gag easily or if someone has already fitted you on the lower arch.
Cleaning it
Rinse it as soon as it comes out, brush it with the foam we send, and let it dry in the case. Hot water warps it and toothpaste scratches it, so avoid both.
Paying and tracking
