What it is and what it costs

What the word flexible buys you

The base is a soft plastic that gives a little under pressure and springs back. That one property is what lets it grip around your own teeth with no clasp, sit thinner against the roof of the mouth, and stop being noticeable after a week. A rigid plate cannot do any of those three.

What a flexible partial denture costs on average

Ours is $549 an arch for two to five missing teeth and $649 for six to eight, with both arches from $949. The kit and the postage both ways are already inside those numbers.

What it costs

Two to five missing teeth, one arch, $549.
Six to eight missing teeth, one arch, $649.
Both arches together, from $949.

The mold kit and the return label are already inside those numbers.

How a flexible partial denture stays in

The nylon base flexes over the widest part of your own teeth and springs back under them. That is the grip, which is why there is no wire and no adhesive.

Three steps and it is yours

Order online. Your kit goes out at once and turns up two or three business days later.
Mold at home. Work through the card and the video, then mail both molds back with the label from the box.
Wear it. Six to ten business days on the bench, then the parcel goes out to you.

Rush production and rush shipping are on offer at checkout when the date matters.

What turns up at the door

A $49.99 mold kit, with trays, putty, a shade guide and video steps.
The finished denture, cleaning foam and a case that has a mirror.

Your mold stays on file

We keep your impressions, so a spare or a replacement never means molding again. Under Mold Once the repeat comes at 30 percent off.

One flat price: $549 an arch. The appliance, the impression kit, shipping both ways and 30 days of adjustments — all in.

HSA and FSA accepted

Six to eight missing teeth is $649 an arch. Both arches together are $949 or $1,049.

How it happens

After checkout, a licensed dentist in your state reviews your photos. Your impression kit ships only after that review.

  1. Order online and your impression kit arrives by USPS in 3 days or FedEx overnight
  2. Take the mold at your own table and mail it back with the prepaid label
  3. We build your denture in 6 to 10 business days and ship it to your door
  • Free shipping both ways
  • Custom made in a Florida dental lab
  • 30 days of free adjustments

Am I the right candidate?

  • You are 18 or older
  • Two to eight teeth are gone on the same jaw
  • Sound teeth are still standing for the pink clasps to pass over
  • What shows when you talk is the reason you are buying
  • The gum has settled since the extraction
  • You will take it out at night and rinse it in cool water

Not the right buy if

  • You expect the plate relined in a year rather than pressed again
  • Heavy grinding at night is part of the picture
  • Nothing is left standing on that jaw

Priced by how many teeth are gone

A flexible denture is a nylon plate that replaces two to eight teeth on one jaw. It flexes over your own teeth to grip, which is why it needs no metal clasp and no adhesive.

A flexible flipper for up to three teeth in a row starts at $399 an arch and takes 6 to 10 business days.

The five things that move the price

A quote from a dental office is built out of five parts. Count them and it is plain which ones you are actually paying for.

How many teeth

The only one of the five that moves our price. Two to five is $549, six to eight is $649.

The material

Nylon, acrylic or a cast frame. We publish a figure for each instead of a starting from.

Which lab

An office orders from a bench and prices the invoice on. Here the bench is who you ordered from.

Chair and cover

The fee for the visits and whatever the insurer declines. Neither one exists in this price.

Why nylon holds without metal clasps

Flexible is a property, not a finish. The base gives as it passes the widest part of a tooth and springs back underneath it, and that spring is the whole grip.

A rigid plate snaps along its weakest line. Nylon bends instead, which is the one failure it does not have.

Clasps in pink

The grip is part of the plate and tinted to your gum, so no wire is catching the light.

A thinner base

Less bulk against the palate, which is most of what anyone notices in the first week.

It bends, not snaps

Dropped on tile, a nylon plate takes the hit. A rigid base is the one that cracks in two.

Full flexible partial denture set showing upper and lower arches held in hand

Two sizes, told apart by the count

Pick by the number of teeth missing on that jaw. Everything else about the build is the same.

Two to five teeth

The everyday build, and the one most front gaps end up on. $549 an arch.

Six to eight teeth

A wider plate for a jaw that is mostly empty. $649 an arch.

Both arches

Ordered together, and cheaper than two separate orders. From $949.

The most comfortable type of partial denture

Nylon, for most people. The base is thinner against the palate than the $469 acrylic plate and there is no wire resting on a tooth, so week one is the easiest of the three.

How much a partial denture should cost

Between $399 and $1,049 here, set by how many teeth are gone and which jaw. Anything above that in a quote is chair time, an outside lab invoice and the visits around it.

How long a maxillary partial denture lasts

The material, the anchor teeth and taking it out at night decide it. Acrylic is the one with a number on it, close to two years with daily cleaning, and heat ends either early.

What maxillary partial denture means

Maxillary is the upper jaw and mandibular is the lower. An upper plate covers part of the palate, so it feels fuller in the first week. The price is the same $549 either way.

Whether a flexible partial can be relined or repaired

A nylon base is pressed again rather than relined, and that is the honest trade for hiding the clasps. Your model is on file for two years, so the second arch is 30 percent off under Mold Once.

The difference between a partial denture and a stayplate

A stayplate is a thin temporary plate that holds a gap for weeks while something else is planned. This is the build you wear daily, from $549 an arch, shaded to the teeth you keep.

It does not sit right when it arrives

Tell us inside 30 days of delivery and leave the piece alone. Do not file it, heat it or adjust it yourself. Photograph what is bothering you, keep the order number to hand, and send it back as it left the bench. Adjustments and the remake cost nothing.

It broke

A break with nothing dropped behind it is a fault in the build, and that stands for 60 days from delivery once a technician has verified it. Your mold stays on file for two years, so a replacement usually needs no new impression from you.

People will see it is a plate

Shade and thickness are what give a piece away, and both are set from what you send us. Hold the 16 colour shade guide beside the gap in the photos and pick the shade next to your own teeth rather than the whitest one on the wheel.

What payment methods do you accept

Major credit and debit cards, HSA and FSA cards, and Klarna or Afterpay in four payments when the order qualifies. Nothing is charged today, because ordering has not opened yet.

How long delivery takes and how to track it

The impression kit reaches you by USPS in 3 days or FedEx overnight, your mold takes the same coming back, and the build follows. Every parcel in the chain carries its own tracking number and the updates come to your phone.

Will this actually fit my mouth

It is cut from your own mold by lab technicians in Hollywood, Florida, never picked off a tray of stock sizes. Anything that presses or shifts is adjusted free for 30 days from delivery.

The short version, before you order

It comes out every night, it needs cleaning every day, and it is not an implant. Heavy chewing belongs on your own teeth. Wear it well and it runs from months to a few years before the fit drifts and it is time for another.

Flexible against acrylic and cast metal

Where nylon wins is what shows. Where it loses is a year later, when the gum has settled and the plate needs work at a bench.

Cast metal frame$7496 to 10 business daysMetal, thin and visibleFrame stays, teeth reset

Both arches together are from $949 in nylon, $619 in acrylic and $1,498 in cast metal.

Heat is what ends a flexible base

Nothing on this list is about the calendar. Each one warps or scours nylon, and a warped base never seats the same way again.

Every dayCool water, a soft brush and the foam we send
Every nightOut of the mouth, in water, in the case
NeverBoiling water, the dishwasher, a hot rinse at the tap
Also neverStrong alcohol, a stiff brush, a hot car dashboard

Acrylic is the material we can put a number on, close to two years with daily cleaning. For nylon the care above is the number.

What the first week feels like

It seats with a push of the thumbs and then stops moving. The plate should rest on the gum, never hang off the teeth it passes over.

Week one

Extra saliva, a soft S and a full feeling at the palate. Most people stop noticing it inside seven days.

At the table

Soft food first, then anything cut small. Load both sides of the plate rather than one.

Off the menu

Ice, bones, crusty bread and toffee. Those are what split a nylon base at the tooth.

One evening at home is the whole job

The kit is a $49.99 value and it is already paid for inside the price of the arch. No appointment is booked anywhere in this.

  1. It arrivesOut from us the same or the next business day and with you in 3 days by USPS or overnight by FedEx.
  2. You print the archTwo trays, two mixes, and photos to us for a look before the box goes back.
  3. We press itSix to ten business days at the bench, then the finished denture ships to your door.

A second kit is $40 if the first one is used up, and putty on its own is $25.

The four prints we cannot work from

Nothing is turned away with one word. You get the fault and what to do differently, and these four are almost all of them.

Too little putty
Gum shows on the print but the tooth edges are missing. Load both trays to the rim and seat them while the mix still moves.
Taken out too soon
Sharp edges come back rounded and smeared. Keep still and hands off the handle until the set time has run out.
Off to one side
One half prints thick, the other prints bare. Line the handle up with the middle of your front teeth before pressing.
Bent in the post
The arch reads twisted on the lab bench. It travels home in the box it arrived in, never in a padded envelope.
