Snap on teeth veneers

A cover, not a repair

Snap on veneers are one piece. The shell is shaped to your arch and grips by hugging the widest part of your own teeth, the way a retainer does. There is no cement, no drilling and no needle, and the enamel underneath is exactly as it was when you take the shell out.

That is the trade. Bonded porcelain is permanent and the tooth has to be shaved to make room for it. A snap on shell sits on top instead, so it reads slightly fuller than a natural tooth and it is not built for steak. In exchange you can stop wearing it any evening you like and nothing about your mouth has changed.

People order them for a wedding, for a stage, for photographs, for the three months an implant spends healing, and quite often just for going back to work with a front gap covered.

Choosing a shade you will keep wearing

Five shades ship on this product and the guide in your kit shows all of them against daylight. The trap is picking the brightest one on the card. A shell that is whiter than your eyes reads as a shell.

Snow White and Pearl

The two bright ends of the range. Photograph beautifully, and they announce themselves in a quiet room.

Vanilla and Chardonnay

Where most orders land. Bright enough to read as looked after, warm enough to pass as yours.

Caramel

The warmest shade. Made for matching a lower arch you are not covering, so the two do not fight.

Covering one arch only, match the shade to the jaw you are leaving alone. Covering both, choose freely.

What $299 buys and what an office charges for

Cosmetic work in a chair is billed by the tooth and by the appointment. A consultation, a mold visit, the shells, the fitting, and a follow up each land on the statement as a separate line, and the shape of the bill is only clear once the work is done.

Here the arch is one price. The impression kit at $49.99 is inside it, so is postage both ways, so are thirty days of adjustments. Both arches together come to $580 rather than $618, which is the only discount on the page and it is automatic.

HSA and FSA cards work on this order. If yours is sitting unspent, the HSA and FSA page explains what the receipt needs to say.

From order to first wear

  1. Kit in the postIt leaves within two to three business days and carries four trays, putty, the shade guide and a prepaid label.
  2. Mold and photographTake an upper and a lower, snap both trays, send the pictures. A technician checks the detail before you mail anything.
  3. Shells cut and sentSix to ten business days of bench work, then the parcel goes out with cleaning foam and a case.

The whole run is normally two to three weeks door to door. How it works breaks each stage down.

A shell covers, a flipper fills. If teeth are actually missing rather than marked, the partials page is the better starting point.

Before you order

Eating and drinking in them

Soft food is fine and so are cool drinks. Biting into hard food with the front edge is what breaks a shell, so cut it and chew at the back. Take them out for anything hot, because heat and thin plastic do not mix.

How obvious they look

They sit over your own enamel, so they add a little thickness at the front. In a photograph nobody reads it. Close up in daylight a very bright shade will, which is why the middle of the range sells the most.

Wearing them with teeth missing

A shell can carry a replacement tooth across a short gap, up to about three in a row, as long as there are teeth either side to grip. A long stretch of bare gum gives it nothing to hold and wants a partial instead.

Keeping them clean

Rinse after wearing, brush with the foam that comes in the box rather than toothpaste, and store them dry in the case. Toothpaste is abrasive and it dulls the surface within weeks.

If the fit is off when they arrive

Tell us inside the first thirty days and we adjust or remake. Build faults are covered for sixty days from delivery.

Whether teeth move underneath

No. The shell does not push, it rests. It also does not straighten anything, and it is not a retainer. If holding teeth in place is the job, the Essix retainer is the part you want.
