Buying this way is mostly about the mold
Everything a lab needs in order to cut a denture is the shape of your arch and the way your jaws meet. A dentist captures that with a tray of putty. So does the kit we post you. The difference is who is holding the tray, and for a removable appliance that difference turns out to be small.
What makes it work is the check in the middle. Before you mail anything, you photograph both trays and a technician looks at them. A mold without enough detail is caught there rather than discovered three weeks later, and a replacement kit goes out at no cost.
That single step is the reason ordering online stops being a gamble. Nobody cuts anything from a mold we have not seen.
Two clocks, and they do not overlap
- Kit clockYour kit leaves within two to three business days of the order. Anything placed after 5 PM Eastern or at a weekend counts from the next business day.
- Bench clockIt starts the day a usable mold reaches the lab, not the day you mailed it. Six to ten business days for most builds.
- DeliveryTwo to three business days back to your address, with a tracking number by email as soon as the parcel has one.
Both dates sit in your order confirmation and on your order status page, and the second one is the date we hold ourselves to.
What protects you when the lab is in another state
A shipping date is given before you pay. If we cannot make it, we write before the date passes with a new one and two choices, and cancelling at that point returns every dollar within seven business days no matter how far the work has gone. That right comes from the Federal Trade Commission mail order rule, and nothing on our site takes it away.
After delivery, thirty days belong to fit. Adjust as often as you need, and a free remake when adjusting will not settle it. Sixty days from delivery cover a fault in the build, a clasp that gives way or a finish that lifts.
Your impressions stay with us for two years, so a remake comes off the model on file instead of putting you through the putty again.
What a mail order price includes
One number, and this is what sits inside it. The impression kit at $49.99, four trays, putty, a shade guide and video instructions. Postage prepaid out and prepaid back. The appliance itself, cleaning foam and a mirrored storage case. Thirty days of adjustments with postage. A sixty day warranty from the day it lands.
An office instead bills the mold visit, the try-in, the delivery visit and the adjustments as separate lines, and the total is only visible once the course of visits is over.
Named extras, so nothing surprises you. Rush manufacturing $150. Rush shipping $45 for one leg, $90 for two, $135 for all three. A spare kit $40, spare putty $25.

Whether a mold taken at home is good enough
For a removable appliance, yes, and the photograph check is what makes it safe. Detail is what we need, not clinical hands. If the first try misses it, a fresh kit goes out at no cost and the clock restarts when a good mold lands.
Which states you ship to
All of them. We ship with USPS, UPS, FedEx and DHL, and the carrier named on the label in your box is the only one that should handle the return parcel.

If the parcel goes missing
Tracking reaches you by email and sits on your order page. When tracking stops moving we open a trace with the carrier, and the shipping policy sets out what happens next.
Sending the impressions back late
Life happens and there is no rush from us for months. After 150 days the order goes on hold with a handling charge, and the exact terms are on the refund page.
