It started with my own tooth.

In 2020 I lost a front tooth. The dental office quoted me a price for a simple flipper that felt like a down payment on a car, plus three visits and two weeks of hiding my smile. I knew the appliance itself was made in a lab for a fraction of that number. So I decided to make one for myself.

I went looking for the best people I could find: dental technicians with more than 15 years at the bench, the ones who had been quietly building appliances for other people’s patients and watching the markup get added on the way out. Together we built my tooth from a mold I took at my kitchen table in New York. It fit. It looked like mine. And it cost what a lab charges.
